Due to higher heat resistance with impact and toughness ABS filament is widely used in engineering prototypes, reverse engineering articles, functional parts 3D printing, casting dies, small-batch casing pattern, automobile parts etc.

The surface of ABS is easy to post-process. The material can be treated chemically or mechanically. You can use acetone to merge bigger parts 3D printed separately.
